What we do
We’re developing StratoHAB, a high-altitude balloon system that carries cameras, sensors and communications equipment. Our mission is to give the people protecting lives and communities better information from above.
Onboard navigation uses changing winds to help guide the balloon toward the area a team needs to observe.
Designed to help teams:
- Follow changing wildfires and support disaster response
- Watch Canada’s northern approaches, borders and coastlines
- Study our environment and atmosphere
